We need to bring Komen to its knees in the wake of its awful, politically-motivated decision to pull funding from Planned Parenthood.
Fortunately, Komen has a big soft underbelly. 30 large consumer brands are giving one million dollars or more to Komen each year. Many more brands are paying Komen to use the pink ribbon on product labels or marketing campaigns.
If you want to kick Komen in the crotch, just stop buying pink-ribboned products and let the following sponsors know that you don’t like them giving money to an organization that cuts funding for breast cancer screening for low-income women.
